In the cyber battlefield, victory isn’t about brute force alone. It depends on five key elements: Control, Agility, Power, Speed, and Stealth (CAPSS). Both attackers and defenders must balance these traits to gain the upper hand. Relying too much on one while neglecting others can lead to failure.

 

  • CONTROL: Dictates the battlefield. Defenders secure networks (Zero Trust, SOCs), while attackers manipulate systems (Ransomware, Social Engineering).
  • AGILITY: The ability to adapt. Defenders adjust strategies; attackers exploit new vulnerabilities.
  • POWER: Strength in offence and defence. Defenders fortify networks; attackers overwhelm them (DDoS, Botnets).
  • SPEED: The race against time. Defenders detect and respond fast; attackers strike before detection.
  • STEALTH: Staying hidden. Defenders use intelligence; attackers infiltrate unseen (Rootkits, MITM attacks).

GAMEPLAY

CYFORCE offers two exciting gameplay modes, catering to both casual players and those seeking a deeper strategic experience.

 

RANDOM WAR MODE (CLASSIC TRUMP CARD BATTLE)

 

In Random War, players engage in a fast-paced trump card-style battle. Each round, a player selects one of the CAPSS attributes (Control, Agility, Power, Speed and Stealth) to compare against their opponent’s card. The player with the highest value in the chosen category wins the round and claims the opponent’s card. This mode is perfect for quick, engaging gameplay that reinforces cybersecurity concepts in a fun and competitive way.

 

CYBER DUEL MODE (RED VS. BLUE TEAM STRATEGY)

 

Cyber Duel introduces a more complex, strategic gameplay experience. Players divide into two teams - Red Team (attackers) and Blue Team (defenders) - and must outmanoeuvre each other in simulated cyber scenarios. Using a mix of CAPSS attributes, specialised tactics, and teamwork, players engage in turn-based challenges, attempting to exploit weaknesses or reinforce defences. This mode is ideal for cybersecurity professionals or enthusiasts looking to simulate real-world cyber battles in an interactive and educational format.
